Certified Behavior Technician (CBT/RBT)

Join a small, locally owned and BCBA-operated ABA practice where behavior technicians work closely with clinical leadership. This Puyallup role provides one-on-one ABA therapy for children with autism and developmental disabilities. Scheduling and current availability are discussed during the application process.

Who We're Looking For

Summit is looking for a dependable, compassionate Certified Behavior Technician who enjoys working with children with autism and developmental disabilities. Strong candidates communicate well, maintain a consistent client schedule, work independently, collaborate with the clinical team, and welcome feedback as they continue developing professionally. Previous related experience is preferred.

What You'll Do

Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, this role includes:

  • Providing direct, one-on-one ABA therapy.
  • Implementing individualized behavior intervention and treatment plans.
  • Collecting accurate data on skills, progress, and behavior.
  • Completing clinical documentation in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborating with BCBAs, supervisors, and team members.
  • Helping maintain a positive, supportive, and engaging therapy environment.
  • Following clinical, ethical, organizational, and safety procedures.
  • Communicating professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and coworkers.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Active Certified Behavior Technician credential through the Washington State Department of Health.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team.
  • Dependability and the ability to maintain a consistent client schedule.

Previous experience with children, autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral support needs is preferred.
