Understanding Your Insurance Coverage
We know that understanding insurance can feel overwhelming. Our team is here to help guide you through the process so you know what to expect before services begin.

What You Should Know
A Verification of Benefits (VOB) is the process of contacting your insurance company to learn about your behavioral health benefits. During this process, we gather information such as:
-
Whether your insurance plan includes ABA therapy benefits
-
Whether Summit Behavior Services is in-network or out-of-network
-
Any copays, coinsurance, or deductibles that may apply
-
Whether prior authorization or a referral is required
-
Any visit limits or coverage restrictions
This information helps us prepare for the authorization process and gives your family a better understanding of your potential financial responsibility.
